Three cats and a ferret tend to make you a bit of an expert on getting the smells out (that is, unless you’re one of the types to just get accustomed to the smell and leave it at that). So happy to be home!
FINALLY. After four days of driving with four pets in tow, we’re home. It was a long ride, but it really wasn’t too bad considering most people would scream at the thought of that many animals sharing a small two-door coupe for such a long distance. But boy, we did it! The picture to the right is the very first meal (Fancy Feast, of course) shared in the new home.

I always laugh at how utterly tiny Melvin looks when he gets a new haircut. I keep forgetting he only weighs 4 pounds, 5 on a good day because, with hair, he’s so fluffy.
Melvin will be turning 3 in two more days (on St. Patrick’s day!) and it seems that he’s celebrating by having seizures again.
