Melvin’s Spot | Flashback Friday
It’s time to start bringing back some oldies!
I was going through some of Melvin’s old pictures and realized that there are SO many pictures that were lost with the old blog. He’s so full of character that I think a “Flashback Friday” is in order! So, every Friday until I run out of pictures, I will post 5 of my favorites for the week!
On to the cute!
The Animals Are Settling In.
Pet Odors? Get Rid of Them Naturally!
Pet odors making you angry?
Pet odors. Something I know about all too well. Three cats and a ferret tend to make you a bit of an expert on getting the smells out (that is, unless you’re one of the types to just get accustomed to the smell and leave it at that). I’ve tried everything in the book. Vinegar, baking soda, bleach, various “made-for-pet” products on the market. So what works the best for various pet odors in your house? From what I’ve found, the natural stuff is by far the best way to go.
Dog Food: How Healthy Is Your Dog Food?
From Oregon to North Carolina with 3 Cats and a Ferret!
So happy to be home!
FINALLY. After four days of driving with four pets in tow, we’re home. It was a long ride, but it really wasn’t too bad considering most people would scream at the thought of that many animals sharing a small two-door coupe for such a long distance. But boy, we did it! The picture to the right is the very first meal (Fancy Feast, of course) shared in the new home.
WARNING: Image heavy and lots of reading after the jump (I’m cramming four days of cross-country travel into one post. What do you expect?).
REVIEW: Petego Pet Tube | How It Holds Up For Long-Distance Travel
The Petego Pet Tube is a LIFE-SAVER
After finding the Petego Pet Tube on Amazon before our long trip across the country, I honestly felt as though I was going to have to find new homes for Zoey and Moose, our cats. With three cats and a ferret, the trip from Oregon to North Carolina seemed nearly impossible.
Traveling With Pets: Preparing the Car Ride
Traveling with pets can be stressful.
Thankfully I’ll be traveling with pets here in the next couple of days to help you through it. This will be a series post that will cover a few different subjects. Today’s subject? Preparing for the car ride. I will cover air travel at a later date, as I have some personal experience with that one, as well!
Shelter Dog Saves Girl from Attack!
Mabeline, a sweet shelter dog, becomes a hero!
A new hero is born in the vision of a darling shelter dog named Mabeline. While being walked by a teenage volunteer for Friends of Strays animal shelter, Mabeline, a 35-pound Rhodesian Ridgeback mix, attacked the girl’s attacker, scaring him off and saving her life.
Bored Cats | Favorite Products to Keep Kitty Destruction at Bay
Bored Cats = Destructive Cats
It’s all too true that bored cats will destroy your house. They may look small, but those claws and little bodies of fur pack a real punch when they don’t have anything to do!
Due to the popularity of our “Bored Dog? Top Five Products to Intrigue Your Pooch”, I felt it was high time to write up a similar post for the all the felines out there dying of boredom while their owners are away.
